Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
